Every summer, we display a selection of Rembrandt prints from the rich collection of the Rembrandt House Museum. This year’s theme is: Rembrandt & Life. Rembrandt’s prints show you the whole of life passing by, from the cradle to the grave. For Rembrandt, every stage of life contained something interesting. He had an eye for the intimacy of a mother with her newborn child, the excitement of young love and the beauty of deep forehead wrinkles and grey beards.
