Exhibition THUIS
What does ‘home’ mean? For some, it is an interior that suits you, for others a memory of the past. Or it is simply a safe place that is all yours. In the exhibition THUIS. The feeling of home in contemporary art, thirteen contemporary artists reflect on the sense of home – from symbols of home to the loss of a house. The theme also appears regularly in Rembrandt’s etchings, and these are the starting point of the workshop.
Workshop Etching at Rembrandt’s Home
Follow in Rembrandt’s footsteps during the workshop. Give your own twist to an etching by the master by experimenting with the drypoint technique! You print two prints on a large etching press, which you can take home with you afterwards.
